Green curtains shimmer first faint then bold, purple edges flickering, you stand in snow up to ankles forgetting the cold until fingers go numb. Hot chocolate from a flask tastes better under the show, locals drive by slow, windows down, shouting if you see the dragon shape yet. Some nights the sky dances for hours, others you get clouds and a nap in the car, either way the chase is half the fun.
